OP
Legally it has to be held even though the state party decided to hold a caucus.

Great! if she wins a beauty contest even if it isn't binding that still is a moral victory

Wow, so it's like Clinton wins when the process is purely democratic, and Bernie wins when it isn't.

No, the issue is that primaries and caucuses tend to produce very different results.

How odd!

(51,402 posts)6. That is odd! I just checked TGP and Sanders won the caucus.
But Clinton is winning the primary?
Someone in the media needs to pounce on that.

Clearly it is the people's will.

(10,500 posts)10. No, the issue is that primaries and caucuses tend to produce very different results.
In 2008 Clinton lost the North Dakota caucuses by 50 points, while winning the South Dakota primary by 10 points.
And Washington state held both a primary and caucus in 2008. She lost the caucus by about 30 points, while losing the primary by only about 3 points.

(10,500 posts)11. This says something about how much stronger Hillary is then the media is acknowledging.
She only lost Indiana because she made the mistake of not running any ads while Bernie flooded the airwaves. That was a big mistake.
I think she may win Kentucky next week.

Now he has to win over 76% of the remaining delegates.
