"34% of Sanders WV primary voters declared they will vote for Trump in November..."

(whether the Dem candidate is Sanders or Clinton.)

This was shown with graphs just now by Chris Hayes on MSNBC during his post-primary round table.

"These are the same WVs who voted massively FOR Clinton in 2008, and AGAINST the African-American Sen. Obama.

This cycle, they voted massively AGAINST Clinton and her close Obama identification and FOR Sanders."

One can only deduce that this 34% will vote FOR Trump in November IN PART because they favor his racist and sexist stance.

Got a cup of straight up Smirnoff Vodka, no ice - not mix . . .

West V is a red state that will wholeheartedly vote for any GOPers for Prez.

HRC did well.

With 40% of his voters supporting Trump, that seems he seriously lost the Dem vote.
Nice of Trump to loan bernie his voters.
40% of his votes came from those who will vote Trump in the GE.
This is exactly why Trump would beat sanders in a landslide in the GE.
And why Hillary will be our next President and not bernie

40%??? I''d be embarassed to admit that.
WOW

Reddest of the red now. All of those "historical" Dems who've shown their true racist leanings. Obama is more hated in WV than in almost any other state.

Why? Trump is everything Sanders "message" decries. Amd they are claimg victory?
I'm beginning to see the reason why he decided to stay in the race although he knows he cannot win the Dem nom.

He's made it obvious.
Wow.

who are still registered Dem, but haven't voted Dem in several cycles. Also, independents with racist and sexist tendencies.

They would not vote FOR Clinton, so cast a protest vote AGAINST her. Being registered Dem, they couldn't vote FOR Trump.

How anyone in their right mind can consider this as a "victory" for the Bern, I don't know...

delegate short of her 538 target goal in WV. Some votes are still being counted (97% in at this moment per the NYTimes) and we should see the final results later. If she gets one more delegate, she will MEET her target goal and I will consider that a win.

Either way, her showing will leave Bernie still treading water. Disaffected Dem voters in WV often behave VERY strangely. See, e.g., Flashback: The time a felon took 41 percent against President Obama in West Virginia at https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/05/10/flashback-the-time-a-felon-took-41-percent-against-president-obama-in-west-virginia/

The Dem voters who are still registered as such are latter-day Dixie-Dems with all that that implies.

Strange state right on the Mason-Dixon line with some pretty dubious undercurrents.

I'll never forget some interviews done there in 2008, where the interviewees openly said they "warn't votin' for the black guy".

Touting a victory in those circumstances seems pyrrhic indeed.

Bernie will have from now on, I'm afraid.

So long as Hillary continues to add delegates just as she has been doing all along - and she will - she's doing the right thing and will essentially lock in the nomination long before the convention.

Doesn't matter anyway. Hillary will defeat Trump in the GE.
They can have their boys club , Hillary will walk away with the biggest prize in Nov.

Dig deeper 15 percent of HRC supporters will vote for trump in November. (And anecdotally I have met such people).

By the way let me help you there. They are Democrats. You welcome. Danger, Danger Will Robinson!
