This is frequently their first rodeo and they deserve better than to be conned by a bitter curmudgeon who has only pretended to be a Democrat for the last 5 minutes or so. The older ones should know better; and from the looks of his falling contributions, many of them DO know better.

(23,887 posts)a general election campaign. I know there's been talk of a campaign costing upwards of $1billion. Some money comes from the DNC, but it would have taken a huge number of $27 contributions to make up the difference.
