Brazilia protest

This pic also appears to be in the same location as one another contributor posted. It shows quite a few people. There are a few possibilities that could explain this discrepancy: 1. the other photo posted was from earlier in the day as the crowd was just organizing 2. the other photo is from later in the day when the crowd dispersed 3. the protesters sprung up from the grass when the signal was given.

1. It's just a question of perspective.

Your picture doesn't show so much people, in fact. Just a lower and narrower point of view.

They couldn't even fill both sides of the avenue. In the previous protest, they were everywhere:

You're talking about this image:

This is a screenshot of Globo TV live coverage of the protests. They stated there were 40,000 people at the protest when they broadcasted this image.

They were obviously lying.

2. The photo you posted originally did not have the people on the street

and was a misrepresentation of the protest. Anyway, I have yet to see any news report claim that yesterday's protest was bigger than the one in March. However, it appears there is on going dissatisfaction with the leadership in Brazil and the party you proudly belong to.

I do appreciate you bringing the new protests to our attention even if the way you intend to portray them is not particularly accurate.

They said there were 40,000 people when they broadcasted that image.

That is obviously a lie. That's my point.

" I have yet to see any news report claim that yesterday's protest was bigger than the one in March"

You won't, all news report said exactly the opposite.

4. I agree there are not 40,000, I've seen some articles say about 25,000

in Brasilia. I do not know the real number but that screen shot was taken prior to or after the street march.
