Poll: Floridians question special treatment afforded Cuban immigrants
The Obama administration has said it has no plans to change Cuban immigration policy, but the poll results reflect public sentiment against it in the state with the largest Cuban population in the country.

Very odd and unfair, considering the hell holes other migrants are deported back to.

(1,560 posts)Ben Rhodes said during the Summit of the Americas that the US will look for more ways to expand the relationship with Cuba, and other White House officials have acknowledged that the President could go further in loosening sanctions. My guess is he'll wait a while to see if congress moves on this issue(they won't), and then take some more bold moves. And i think the status of Guantánamo Bay Naval Base will be in play, despite current statements to the contrary.
