Brain drain: Venezuelans have the best scores to study in Chile

Caracas, January 1, 2018 The Department of Evaluation, Measurement and Educational Registration, technical body of the University of Chile, said that Venezuelans who submitted the University Selection Test were foreigners " with high scores ."

According to Globovisión, 53% obtained between 500 and 650 points, while Ecuadorians ranked with 45% of the points. Behind the two groups are the Argentines and Colombians with 41%.

In this sense, the director of the Department of Evaluation, Measurement and Educational Registration, Leonor Varas, said that "they are populations that have been integrated into Chile for more years."

He added that they have seen that "many Venezuelans arrive who are professionals and here's proof. For that reason, the most probable thing is that it is the population that is more integrated than others ".
