A report of robbery of a couple was rejected by the Criminal and Scientific Criminal Investigations Body (CICPC) when they did not have the Carnet de la Patria to carry out the process.

The information was made known by the photojournalist Horacio Siciliano on his Twitter, who indicated that the father and wife of one of his friends were robbed and a Bolivarian National Police told them he could not do anything.

"They were (the couple) to put the complaint in the CICPC of El Llanito and they told them they could not receive a report without the Carnet de la Patria," said Siciliano in the social network.

Opposition politicians and human rights and civil rights organizations have rejected the use of the Homeland Card for activities such as access to food and the bonuses offered by "reelected" President Nicolás Maduro through it as an "instrument of apartheid" "

The Carnet de la Patria ("Fatherland Card", aka Chavismo Loyalty Card) is the preferred identification of Chavismo. It is how they keep track of how loyal you are to the Revolution. It is how they keep track of how many pro-Chavismo events you show up to.

You say you don't want a card? Then no food. No jobs. No medicine. No healthcare. No legal recourse. And it is not a coincidence that the number of cards issued equals the number of votes Maduro allegedly garnered in the May 20 elections. After all, if you get any sort of benefit from Chavismo (Chavismo = Bolivarian Socialism = Venezuela) it is assumed that you support Chavismo and your vote belongs to them.
