Maduro piles on the blame for 20 years of infrastructure neglect

Maduro: "Terrorist" groups entered the country to "attack" the National Electric System
The Cooperator | January 2, 2019

translated from Spanish

Caracas.- Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela, denounced that during the New Year's Eve parties, they entered the country, crossing the border, presumed dozens of "specialized" terrorist commandos in electrical sabotage .

"Transformers fly, cut high-voltage cables, dynamite power plants (...) They leave entire neighborhoods, sometimes whole cities, without light, without energy for industries, freezers, transport, hospitals," said the president. in an interview offered to the Spanish journalist Ignacio Ramonet.

Maduro argued that the "attacks" against Venezuela "are constant, ruthless and of all kinds," and are not solely economic. Likewise, he assured that other commandos infiltrate with the intention of causing cuts in the distribution of water.

"They destroy pipes, they sabotage aqueducts, they cause water cuts. Complicate the daily life of hundreds of families. Other terrorists sabotage public transport. Others specialize in making disappear the paper money that they take massively to Colombia, "he said.

Never to offer any proof. God forbid, the rusted cables and bolts be shown on these toppled towers that now succumb to the least wind. Or the inaccessible 8" thick underwater electric cables that have been "cut" after bathing in salt water for 30 years without so much as a cursory inspection or replacement. And the power plants that are said to be guarded 24/7 by the FANB? How are they getting dynamited?

The water. The transportation. The crumbling bridges and roads. The lack of food, medicine and GASOLINE in a country that has the worlds largest proven reserves of oil. Last but certainly not least, the crime that has made Caracas the worlds most unsafe large city. All can be blamed on "sabotage" and the mythical "economic war" that is bringing 10,000,000% inflation to Venezuela.

At least he didn't blame the sun for being hot, or the CIA trained iguanas for the economic disasters... again.

... everything is perfect! Any hardship (of which there are none, because Maduro can't decide if Venezuela is suffering or not) is blamed on the Americans, the EU, Spain, the Illuminati, Colombia, Brazil, Portuguese pig farmers, the sun (too close to Lara state) and CIA trained iguanas. And traitors against the Patria. (traitors = anyone who complains about the $7 per month minimum wage)

iViva Bolivar! iViva Chavez! iViva la Revolucion!

"...that six million Venezuelan homes receive every three weeks in their homes, almost free of charge, the essential foods for the family... " {{{insert sound of coffee spurting out the nose!}}}... CLAP boxes are non-existent these days.

"...our government has distributed some 14 million toys to children of humble families..." (dog chew toys from China)

"...almost all the population of Venezuela has access to free, quality medical care..." (dear God...)

"...the entire population has access to free and quality education from preschool to university and postgraduate. 2018, enrollment in all of education increased in Venezuela... " (teachers are fleeing faster than any other profession except doctors)

"...the" Vuelta a la Patria "plan ... More than twenty thousand Venezuelans have returned..." (two planes so far, to much fanfare via the propaganda department)

The guy literally has no shame.
