A woman who helped to bring down a Brazilian faith healer accused of sex abuse has taken her own life in Spain.

Sabrina Bittencourt, 38, died at her home in Barcelona just days after accusing John of God - real name Joao Teixeira de Faria - of running a 'sex slave farm'.

She claimed young girls were held captive in a farming operation which exported babies on the black market.

The women would be murdered after ten years of having babies in the alleged scheme run by the 77-year-old celebrity faith healer, who was arrested last year after hundreds of women accused him of abuse, she said.

Why would she have gone to so much trouble, through so much struggling just to toss in the towel now?

    Thanks for your comment.

as I have been noticing that we have a child slave market in our own country and it seems to be run out of the WH and I am really upset about it. I was a child slave, not sold but enslaved by my parent who had custody of me.

So I am really fired up about that topic anywhere. This woman was probably murdered and it was said to be suicide because too many who should have been protecting her are actually co-conspirators and are protecting the criminals instead. There's a big profit in slavery, still.

and I'm sure you're aware that occassionally there are news articles written about it when conditions conspire to allow the light to fall on people they've caught exploiting innocent children this way.

It seems incomprehensible to outsiders that someone could be so dead morally he/she would EVER step away from the natural instinct to protect at all costs, the smaller, younger, innocents who literally have no where to go to hide from fiendish abuse, monstrous criminal intentions toward them.

Pure evil can operate in broad daylight, even as it seems impossible, and chew up the powerless who have no refuge to find.

It's going to have to take a moral awakening on the part of more than occasional good Samaritans. I do believe the day will come, it definitely is needed.

I have a horrible feeling "Juan of God" is not going to be put out of operation, in the end. I think there are too many fellow perverts around to protect him. Surely hope I'm wrong.
