Communications Specialist

The IBEW International Office in Washington, D.C. seeks an outstanding multimedia writer to join our 14-member communications team. We are advocacy journalists dedicated to telling authentic stories that better the lives of working people. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with significant experience and a demonstrated ability to produce compelling content for print and web. Must be able to generate story ideas, conduct interviews, write accurate and concise copy and work with photos and graphics to create a polished finished product. A bachelor’s degree in journalism or other related field or equivalent experience is required. Labor background a plus. Starting salary $90k with outstanding benefits package.
