A 5-year-old boy named Ian had a big day at the Nashville Zoo recently. Ian and his dad, Patrick Parker, say they visit the zoo often, and on this particular occasion, Ian made a new friend, an Andean bear, native to South America.
Ian approached the glass to watch the bear and got so excited he started jumping up and down. The bear must have decided that looked like fun because it got in the water and started hopping up and down along with the little boy.

(16,905 posts)Their Peruvian bears exhibit is incredible and the couple times we've been since they opened that exhibit in the spring, the bears seem to really enjoy showing off like that.

(16,905 posts)They truly are magnificent, love the pics. It's easy to see why they were used as the bear for Paddington!

I wish your son had seen one chilling out like this guy when you went there. That would probably make any young or a person young at heart smile a lot.
Here's a bear someone caught on camera, strolling across Machu Picchu:
Did a search for "Paddington Bear + Machu Picchu". Surprise!
