By JODI RUDOREN APRIL 3, 2015
JERUSALEM Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel introduced a new demand Friday for the final phase of negotiations over Irans nuclear program, saying the completed deal must include an unambiguous Iranian recognition of Israels right to exist.
Mr. Netanyahu, the worlds most vocal critic of the emerging agreement between six world powers and Iran, convened a special session of his security cabinet on Friday, hours before the onset of the Passover holiday, to review the framework agreement announced the night before.
He emerged saying the group is united in strongly opposing the proposed deal, contending it would pose a grave danger to the region and to the world, and would threaten the very survival of the state of Israel.

And Bibi is correct, if they can't at a fucking minimum accept Israel as a country they why should anyone trust them at all?

...With significant support from Iran and Syria, Hezbollah maintains an extensive security apparatus, political organization, and social services network in Lebanon, where the group is often described as a "state within the state."

Hezbollahs deepening involvement in Syria is one of the most important factors of the conflict in 2013 and 2014. Since the beginning of 2013, Hezbollah fighters have operated openly and in significant numbers across the border alongside their Syrian and Iraqi counterparts. They have enabled the regime to regain control of rebel-held areas in central Syria and have improved the effectiveness of pro-regime forces. The impact of Hezbollahs involvement in Syria has been felt not just on the battlefield, where the regime now has momentum in many areas, but also in Lebanon where growing sectarian tensions have undermined security and stability.

Israel is seeing Iranian influence in the Gaza Strip, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said on Tuesday during a tour of the IDF Southern Command with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Irans arms are actually sent to every possible place in the Middle East, Yaalon said. The support for Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the support for Hamas we see the arms beyond the borders of the [Southern] Command, too, [but also] in Lebanon with Hezbollah, on the Golan Heights, in the front they are trying to open against us, and as they declare, they wish to set up a terrorism infrastructure in Judea and Samaria.

Iran is believed to fund Hezbollah to the tune of at least $100 million per year. Recently, Western diplomats and analysts in Lebanon estimated Hezbollah receives closer to $200 million a year from Iran. (10) The increase is likely due to Iran's keen interest in undermining prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace (and, in general, further destabilizing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict), and Hezbollah's growing role as Iran's proxy to achieve this goal. Hezbollah success in funding and training Palestinian groups -- not just the Iran's interest in it -- may well explain the increase in funding since Iran is known to employ a results-oriented approach to determining the level of funding it is willing to provide terrorist groups. As a U.S. court noted in Weinstein v. Iran, the period of 1995-1996 "was a peak period for Iranian economic support of Hamas because Iran typically paid for results, and Hamas was providing results by committing numerous bus bombings such as the one on February 25, 1996." (11) Iranian funding to terrorist groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad (most often funneled via Hezbollah) increases when they carry out successful attacks and decreases when they fail, are thwarted or are postponed due to ceasefires or other political considerations.

(23,946 posts)many times must Rouhani say it? How many detailed agreements need to be signed with the international community?
How many assurances do you need....while Israel wants to bomb...fuck the consequences.
You are on the wrong side of a planet wanting to give peace a chance...or is that not your goal either?
What is your alternative?
Truly, if you do not have a detailed alternative to a detailed peace plan...that then there is a mountain of BS.
