Right? There was just no reason for the seller to include all of that personal information. Why would anybody care one way or the other about the reason for selling the Macbook? It just seems contrived to me.

Unless somebody really is that dumb (which is remotely possible). I checked out the posting id on craigslist and it stated that the post was flagged for removal.

If it is true, the father is teaching his son that the way he was born is wrong, instead of supporting his son the way he is.

I could actually see right wing nuts actually going to that kind of level of stupidity. It may well be a hoax, but in the current climate.. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was genuine idiocy.
