It has been a year since we were informed our own HillWilliam's husband of 18 years, Rob, had passed away. The pain of losing a loved one is always great, but for us, as GLBT people, it is sometimes compounded by those who refuse to recognize our love. Holidays, fun times, and even the mundane are painful because our loved one is no longer with us. It is important to remember those who have moved on, as it is important to remember their love.
Bill, you are my friend and you are loved. Though we have never met, today, I remember your husband, Rob, and your love of one another.

(28,132 posts)I miss Rob so much! He was a FB friend whom I talked to online almost every day. What a truly caring, authentic, tell-it-like-it-is soul he was.
HW (B), if you're reading this, please know he will never be forgotten by me. That falling star is still sailing through the sky.
