Fleming: "The Man Who Would Be Bond" (True story of Bond creator Ian Fleming) 4Part:

Now on NETFLIX. I'm into Part 4, the Last One of the 4 Part. Enjoyed it...although the violent sex scenes in some parts (I finally skipped through) can get to be a bit much from this particular female viewer's side...it still held my interest. I wish it had gone into more depth, in a way, but it was still interesting to see this view of Ian Fleming and England's problems with France, Bombings and the build up and involvement in WWII as a SPY creating his own "Navy Seals' Force" even back then and what happened with that. It's very compelling.

I found it very interesting.. mind you I was never ever a "Bonds" film fan. I think I saw Goldfinger back when I was early High School, (in the mid 60's) or maybe it was a different film. but that was about it.

but I came across this film on Netflix and found it quite fascinating. Depiction of an enormously privileged- but yet undeniably brilliant character even among his peers.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fascinating to see how Ian Fleming came up with 'James Bond'. Well worth watching.
