Sagrada: The Mystery of Creation
This is a documentary of Barcelona's Sagrada Familia, the cathedral envisioned by Gaudí.
Love it or hate it, or even mildly like or dislike it, this cathedral is an amazing work of art. I highly recommend this documentary.

(20,886 posts)No drawn plans, just models, most of which have been lost or destroyed. What appears to be an international workforce of all different, and sometimes no, religious affiliation, and they've managed to maintain Gaudi's vision through more than a century of changing techniques.
What I find appalling is the construction of a high speed train tunnel under this magnificent structure.

(2,580 posts)I was especially moved by an interview with one of the stone carvers, a Japanese fellow, describing his "conversation with the stone" and his conversion to Catholicism from Shinto, just to understand better what he was doing.
The train tunnel horrified me.
