'Ultraviolet' - British miniseries, 6 eps. Very Different.

One series only, 6 eps - Vampires - with a difference.

No fangs and definitely not Twighlighty. A special crack squad fights the good fight in the shadows - sort of X-Files meets vampires. Made in 1998 but does not show its age. Bonus - Idris Elba (Luther) is one of the main characters, Jack Davenport, Susannah Harker co-star. I was prepared not to like it - but I did.

The show takes pains to keep things plausible. Some very good writing here and some great dialog.
