I have learned so much from you.

You are a blessing to all of us.

She's smart and insightful. Caring people often hurt.

But, I think the issue is that I need to be the one who is glad to still be here. And, I don't know about the others here, but I am not glad' at all.

Over several days time, it turned out to be a long list.

My mom lost a child to SIDS, I sort of remember being in the other room when the cops(long before EMS existed) got to our house. I cannot go before her, I cannot do that to her.
I was not interested in more cats, the universe had other plans, I now have 2 very indulged semi ferals

I cannot go, today.

It always ends up having a longer list of why I should leave as opposed to why I should not. I suppose that sounds scary, but I find comfort in the fact that I feel justified in my position, even if I am too much of a coward to do anything about it.
