Journey has been hell but rewarding

I wanna write my story, but it would be a novels worth of letters. From 2020 til now mid 2023. Battling depression, dysphoria, hate, transphobia, and heartbreak. I fucking won. Thousands of my savings gone, but here I am. Happier version of myself than I ever was. The cure was to transition. Otherwise suicide would have been the only other method of dealing with the pain of being in the wrong body for so long. Not anymore. I'm free from it. I finally won a battle for once in my life. Though the war isn't over going forward. But I won this one. Like many other transgender individuals embracing their true selves. Like many others dealing with suicidal thoughts and depression. I tried to give up twice, but I still came out of it with battle scars.

All I can say is. Never give up. Don't let anyone and I mean ANYONE ever trample over you and tell you you're not worth it. You fucking are worth it. You're better than that person.

Thanks DU for being here for the long journey and support you've given me.

I'm not 100% and not sure I can handle the heat this coming weekend at our Pride. I told my crew to go without me and have fun. I am their protector in the group but they'll be safe with our own community.

I'm missing Pride anywhere this year circumstantially, and cancer surgery knocked that out for 2 years prior. So far, I remain in remission so hoping on next year's participation.
