Personally, I struggle with a hairbrush

Which reminds me that I made the right decision to put LilBit in state care.
But this damn hairbrush! I haven’t moved it. How many hours we sat here and brushed her hair? When she woke, when we had to go somewhere, when she was upset?
I’m really missing her.

((HUG)) I know your heart hurts and I wish there was something I could do to make it better. You are brave and strong, even if it doesn’t feel that way- you are. I’m holding you in my thoughts as I know so many of our DU family are doing. We love you.

When life is a downer, nothing beats participating in the creation process. I don't know how I'd have coped with my father's dying process if I hadn't had a litter of bottle baby kittens to devote my time and attention to. I couldn't stay depressed the times I was giving them life !!!
