They and some ex-friends etc had formed a digital posse to continually harass me, I realized it had been going on for years as part of a consistent pattern that got worse when I came forward about some serious issues from my past. Not sure if it’ll amount to anything criminal but… it was physical at times. Not sure if an ex incentivized that financially but they certainly don’t seem concerned. Much like with the Trump crowd though, eventually protections against that sort of thing fail once there’s visibility. I’ll be glad to find more stable relationships, I tried for years to keep an even keel with them and they just got worse and worse.

I have a few things I’m convincing myself should be ok to look forward to. But you know the drill, it’s hard to just force being chipper and blithe. But that’s this month. I’m going to keep looking for chances I really am enthusiastic about for improving my life and how I feel, eventually find someone to lean on/be a support for. Meanwhile, there’s this, even if it is technically a political forum for the most part.

I have gotten support here from people from all walks of life and all levels of experience. We are united because we all view politics and life in a similar way. We don't have to approach each other with trepidation over our basic values. We know that everyone here is on the same page about women's rights, workers' rights, voters' rights and all the other rights that Democrats value. We can inform each other and help each other without worrying about being judged by people we would not respect IRL, and people who would not respect us.
