Narcissists have to destroy others.

My sister has been my constant narcissist since age 2. We're talking 6+ decades.

I cut off all contact with her during the summer. No fights, no words. Just separation.

I now have discovered that she's been telling others that I have Alzheimer's.

That's what narcissists do: if they can't control you, they try to control what others think about you.

She connived to turn my whole family against me, her one and only son and his wife.
It was pure hell and I didn’t know of her diagnoses until I crashed and burned from all the hate and pain swirling around the family. I’m much better now especially after the BPD was revealed. It explained a lot. Her poor son left her in elementary school because, his words, “she’s toxic.”

You should wait until some other family member mentions it and reply, "Oh, you mean 'Little Miss Can't Be Wrong'? Yeah, she hates it when I won't let her be a control freak."

(I have always said that the first verse of the song is all that needed to be said. Schenkman could have done a three minute solo for the rest of the song.)

because my younger daughter (B) has somewhat similar problems with my older daughter (A,) both adults with young children.

It appears that A has had 'some' condition for her whole life, bipolarPLUS, I'll call it, so she and B have been estranged for MANY years. Fairly regularly (every 6 months or so,) 'something' triggers A, and she gets on my case. It just happened today, and I'm thinking about how to deal with it THIS time.

Later.

Could be rounded up
Put on a rocket
Going right into the sun.

Life would be better without them.
