Told my psychiatrist today

that if Trump wins in November, and it looks like he will make good on his threats of being a dictator, I don't know what I will do about 2025. I told her I wouldn't want to live in dictatorship. That I had learned too much about what happens in them while getting my history degree.

She said she and I are going to be talking a lot between now and November. She said we can all just ask Canada for Assylum but I don't think Canada is going to want that.

I told her I am going to hold on till November, and hope like heck Biden wins and gets a Dem-Majority, but if that doesn't happen I am not sure I can promise anything past that. I am still going to try and find when my Italian grandparents were naturalized, because if it was after my Mom was born I maybe able to claim citizenship there. My preference was Ireland but my great grandparents were already in US when my Dad was born so I don't qualify.

I came out of Catholic grade school with permanent emotional damage from the bullying, beatings, and belittlement from the other kids and a few very mean teachers. I really don't think I could handle something far worse without breaking completely.

Once I lose disability and housing, food stamps and medical assistance that I need to survive and to control my illnesses and diabetes, I am as good as dead.

Being homeless again will make me be under stress bad enough to go psychotic again. That is what happened the last time that happened.

I will stop eating and let nature take its course. I refuse to get taken to a camp and be abused and worked to death.

My therapist understands where I am coming from. She hasn't offered to help me get asylum. Maybe she will later I dunno.Besides other countries reject disabled immigrants.

another country would let me in either. Unless there are still some of my grandparents family left in Italy who would agree to sponsor me, but I doubt they'd do that for someone they never met. Same with the Irish side

Unfortunately, I looked into moving overseas many years ago. They all want two things. That you can support yourself indefinitely, and that you will not be a burden to them in any way. I can do neither, so I don't get this option. If things go south in November, I will be going 'south' with them. I don't have much time left anyway... there is no reason to get upset about losing a few more months if the end result is escape from this failed life.

Good luck with the psychiatrist. Glad some of us can afford one.

8. The county where I live

even though it has a Republican majority surprisingly offers a subsidized mental health clinic where rates are adjusted for different income levels and insurance coverage. I am really surprised they haven't tried to eliminate it. Someone did try to propose privatizing it, but it got voted down because the social workers also counsel inmates in the county jail, and act as backups to the Veterans Hospital psychiatric staff. So it has helped me with the cost of care.

I just hope for all of our sakes Democrats from the President on down prevail in November.

That's my mantra from now until November. I refuse to consider the possibility of him winning. Call it denial if you want, but it's working for me so far. If I let myself even think he might win, I don't think I could handle it.

Repeat as many times as necessary:

TRUMP WILL LOSE IN NOVEMBER. JOE BIDEN IS GOING TO WIN.

Looking imto dual citizenship with Ireland. Does Ireland want old Americans disabled?

I sometimes think if I get cancer, I'm not treating it.

Hoping he dies soon

if your parents, or grandparents were born in Ireland. Also if your great grandparents lived in Ireland, and were still in Ireland when your mother or father were born, there is still a chance they will grant it. It didn’t say anything about age or abilities using the family angle.

If there is no family ties fitting the requirements or no family ties to Ireland whatsoever, I doubt older disabled people would be granted citizenship unless their income is high enough to be self sustaining. Mine definitely isn't.
