Nothing planned but to finish off any leftovers in the fridge. A few pork ribs, some steamed broccoli, some Dijon roasted potatoes made the other day. Oh, and I have some fresh California cherries for dessert, so there is that!

Rice-a-Roni rice pilaf, and stir-fried veggies (onion, carrot, snow peas, zucchini, and red bell pepper). Yum.

I bought a couple of very thick boneless loin pork chops, marinated them overnight in teriyaki sauce, and then grilled them on the counter-top electric grill. They are large enough that each one will make three meals for me.

Oh, and I also fixed a salad.

I am sometimes astonished at how very cheaply I can eat when I'm cooking from scratch. That entire meal probably came to less than $2.00. Maybe $2.50. But not very much.

I actually am on a limited enough budget that my goal is to keep my meal costs at about two dollars each. I don't always succeed, but I'm quite pleased when I do.
