Baked Salmon with Mustard-Dill Sauce

I tweaked the recipe: substituted two cloves of shallots to replace garlic. Also baked filet whole and divided into four quarters when done.

I vouch for this recipe. And yes, obviously fresh dill.

an eleven and a half pound salmon filet? That seems big, but then I'm a novice cook.

I tried a 1-1/2 lb filet and the recipe turned out nicely.

Are you sure you're not fishing for compliments? Seriously, thanks for the reply. I might try this for my mom's birthday, and I don't need to end up with enough to feed the whole neighborhood.
