What's for Dinner, Wed., May 1, 2019

Appetizer: Country Pate’ (pork) on crackers with red onion and spicy mustard

Soup: tomato, onion, carrot, butter with a little couscous

Chicken breast with vegetable sauce; sliced zucchini in creamy parmesan romano sauce

Strawberries and blackberries for dessert.

I have to see a production of the musical Grand Hotel in DC (it features my orchestrations) so we’re driving from NYC tonight.

Sandwiches in the car. Roast beef, turkey and Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions topped with red onions and brown mustard.

Red delicious apples for dessert.

We’ll wave hello as we drive through NJ!

A package mix of Florentine style Risotto with a few sliced mushrooms & greens added in. Half for dinner, half for lunch tomorrow. And my usual decafe tea.

Undecided on a side if any.

FLFC is unconvinced when I tell him too much salt for you in bacon. He has shredded roast chicken with cubes of beef.

Provolone on seeded bread. Only thing I’ve cooked in a week I am sorry to say! Woo. Been busy ...and cooked FOR by someone. 🙂

Grilled cheese = Good comfort food for me!
