Looking for a reliable recipe for peanut butter no-bakes without cocoa. I have a candy thermometer

but I still manage to turn out taffy or granola! YoungerGreenKid requested these in lieu of a cake for his 20th birthday next Saturday, so I need to come through. LOL (And yes, for you old timers, this is the GreenKid who was still nursing when I started coming to DU, and some years later at 9yo won a photography contest in the group here.)

I haven't made no bakes for a long time, and the recipe I use has cocoa. I found this recipe online, and am posting the link because it has some tips on putting them together. I do have a recipe for no-bake peanut bars, with a chocolate topping. They taste like Reese Cups. You could leave the topping off maybe.
