Related: About this forumharvey isn't too hot on this whole having to be on a diet thing
he was 14.5 pounds at his first trip to the vet seven weeks ago and 15 at his second trip a few weeks later. during the second trip, the vet told me we need to dial back on his food and told me what his daily calorie intake should be. well, i finally did the math and, when you account for the treats and the dry food, we should only be feeding him about a can of wet food a day rather than the two we have been (we just feed him when he asks for it).
i weighed him before we got started and he was up to 15.5 pounds, so it really was time to get him on that diet. he has spent the last few days following me around the house and trying to tell me he's going to waste away.
look at this poor, wasted waif of a boy (those tiles are 10, maybe 10.5 inches square, by the way)
