Cats and Sea Meats, from twitter

She does this with ANY can. I opened beans the other day and she was SO pumped and then I let her smell it and the look of pure betrayal on her face cut me deep inside

Because the dialogue in that tweet is soooo true.

They get the water.

My cats don't really like people food. They will walk away from chicken, beef, pork, and just about any other proteins we eat.

But fish is different. I'm an offshore fisherman and frequently have enough fish to feed the neighborhood. They get sashimi when I clean the fish and they love that.

But they go just pure nuts for canned tuna. Go figure.

They respond only to cat food cans being opened. And if we don't open them fast enough, we get "that look."

And I think they deliberately distract me when I'm making salmon so that they can have a go at the human people salmon. Crafty.
