Madoc woke me up from another bad dream. His motive was not altruistic.

It was 6:15, almost 30 minutes past their usual breakfast time. He and his bandmates, the Cat-egory 5 Purricanes, were on the verge of extinction due to starvation.

GHAAA! The nightmare involved my late, beloved Boudicca. Somehow she got tangled in a shredded sheer curtain and was strangling. I had to RUSH to find scissors and then run back to where she was. Yes, I ran with scissors. I got to her just in time.

That was the least disturbing of last night's dreams.

Now I'm off to buy more food for these all encompassing sweethearts.

They know when to wake you up from bad dreams!

And it's good that they are there to give you something else to focus on after you are awake and they love you no matter what. Well, most of the time.

good care of you!

I am sorry that you are having such bad dreams. That one was truly awful. Does chamomile tea before bed ever help?

That usually works. I think this whole trial and the ramifications if he's not convicted are just feeding my already bad anxiety issues. Fortunately my awake hours are full of sweet and cuddly fur babies. Just about every time I walk out the door, Dylan is waiting for me and he immediately goes into rollies mode.

I have some chamomile tea. I'll give it a try.

Many years ago, I had a young friend who experienced night terrors. I had a tea made up for him, chamomile, eucalyptus, and mint. Had him drink it half an hour before bedtime. It seemed to help.

Believe me, I understand. The possibilities are just too scary. Going to cuddle my baby now, who has taken to sleeping next to my head.

to wake us up. He does it repeatedly if we don't respond. Unfortunately, he does it starting about 45 minutes before feeding time.

Calms the mind and you sleep better.
No intrusive thoughts.

Works for me anyway.
