I finally had to lock one of my cats out of the bedroom when changing sheets because he was tearing them up so much. I nicknamed him The Fierce Wrinkle Fighter.

It's the small bedroom where I put some of my mom, sister and aunt's belongings that I have to decide whether to toss or keep. Trying to do that on my own proved to be too emotionally overwhelming so I'd shut the door and ignore it. The kids have decided to help me push past that problem. It's going to be a rough day because so much of what I think I want to keep, I really just need to toss or donate.

Anyway, I have zero doubt that Madoc and Gryff will be underfoot the whole time. Carys and Arthur will hide. Sian will take her time to decide how much mischief she can get away with.

had to make our 2nd bedroom into my work from home office when Covid hit. I took photos of the stuff I wanted to remember before donating or selling it. I put the pics in a scrapbook and it's a hilarious coffee table book now. Just a suggestion that worked for me

Not even sure I'd remember how to do it on my own anymore

I have a pair of shoes with laces that one of my cats finds irresistible. It takes far longer to tie the laces on those shoes with a cat using tooth and claw to undo my progress. Last weekend, I was in a bit of a hurry and put the cat out of the room until I got fully dressed. Out of necessity, cats sometimes have to be removed physically to get things done. Sheets and shoelaces are highly stimulating and chase-worthy.

I had to change our morning pill routine when we rescued Foggy. The other cats ignored this routine, but not him. He thinks both the bottles and the pills are toys and always wanted to bat them off the table. The fish oil caps he wants to eat!

Now I do the pills on the counter so it's out of his sight and pills and bottles aren't all over my floors. Win!

If it were, cats would have knocked everything off the edge by now.
