Have tried speaking Old English but never had any success with it.

I honestly would have a hard time understanding it myself. To me, it sounds nothing like ours. Ecolingust is a great channel. Also, I recommend Bahador Alast, who also does languages.

It would be neat if someone were to translate the song into Old English and make a video of that version's performance, given good a singing voice, of course.
