Clayton man arrested in school shooting threat

CLAYTON – A borough man is behind bars after posting an Instagram message with gun emoji symbols that threatened a shooting at Clayton High School, authorities said.
The threat led to "a few tense minutes" Friday morning during a precautionary "lock in place" response at the district’s high school/middle school complex, Schools Superintendent Nikolaos C. Koutsogiannis said in letter posted online.
Police said they arrested 19-year-old Amante Brice after he posted a picture of the high school on Instagram with a caption that said, "revenge is a (explicative redacted) the next S.S." The letters "S.S." were an abbreviation for "school shooting," according to police, who said the social media post also had "gun emoji symbols throughout."
