Weinstein promised to work with other authorities to create a "Gun Court" dedicated just to firearms prosecutions if elected DA, stating, "ideally, cases will be closed within six months.

She also targeted "ghost guns," or weapons such as homemade guns that lack serial numbers, saying she would coordinate with other DAs and the NYPD to develop best practices for dealing with the growing problem.
