W.E.B. DuBois sometimes introduced his writing with an "Apology." The one I remember in particular was his first article in the journal Phylon that he founded in 1940. You're in good company.

Is it possible to place it here on the new forum? It's a great resource. There was so much work that went into documenting achievements of Africans and African-Americans that it'd be a shame if it were lost.

Is the group for an exploration of black American experiences? Is it disruptive if we have non black DU Members that come in for the sole intent and purpose of spreading the IndieTeapublican Agenda of subtle coded language and the Neocon Go To of: But blacks are racists too?

If so - is it possible to ban DU members as is done in BOG?

As I just said in a different thread, I am finding way too many assholes in the general population of DU...

Never before over the past 10 yrs of posting on liberal message boards have I seen so much racism, misogyny and downright anger at other liberals sometimes over nothing.

But so happy to have this little family here...I need to become active in the LGBT form as well I think.
