You might want to sign up at Goodsreads. They will send you lots of suggestions. You could also stop by this group for weekly updates on what other DUers are reading pinned at the top of these posts. Of course, those aren't always new authors.

I am one of those who was creeped out by The Glass Hotel, although I loved Station Eleven.

I suspect I'll give it a go someday. It's sci fi, action/adventure. Blurb says: A virtuoso performance that is as human and tender as it is intellectually playful, Sea of Tranquility is a novel of time travel and metaphysics that precisely captures the reality of our current moment.

Maybe someone here will report on it sooner than later.
