The bitterness has reached the gubernatorial level:

>>TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Gov. Sam Brownback says he has no interest in keeping the University of Kansas' rivalry with the University of Missouri alive when the Tigers leave the Big 12 for the Southeastern Conference next year.<<

So, all those years of tradition go out the window... I will miss the rivalry...

Mizzou and A&M are good schools, too.

Missouri and Kansas complement each other. Their rivalry was inspired by historic hatred. Their athletic competitions have been like a stand-in for something darker but ultimately constructive. I am reading the fan boards. This thing really seems to be ending bitterly. That's a shame, given the tradition.

And A&M is not a "good school".

Those Jack Boots, Jodhpurs and Sam Browne Belt belong to Rick Perry. Reveille doesn't.

I didn't realize you were a beaker.

One guy wrote on the Mizzou board:

>>I shall ride through kansas to get there boys. And meet any corrupted Lawrence metro cop or kansas state trooper who stands in my way because I will fight them myself if I have to.

That's right. I will fight them all myself. Unless there be any men among YOU...who would ride with ME.

SO I'M ASKING....

ARE THERE ANY MEN HERE...WHO WOULD RIDE WITH ME???

THEN HELL BOYS...RIDE WITH ME TO LAWRENCE!!!!

LET'S RIDE TO LAWRENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!<<

Whoa. Just whoa.

It will just make it better when they play again.

These two schools, A&M and Mizzou, were ahead of the curve on jumping. Follow the money. SEC Baby

We kick Kansas' ass all the time and its always a blast.
