(6,452 posts)I've seen all of those birds in my yard over the years. I leave the standing dead trees for the woodpeckers too. Of course i get robins and blue jays and cardinals too. I was thinking of setting up a bird bath this year...

(6,452 posts)a few miles away from Vermont. I was excited the first time I saw an Indigo Bunting, i'll admit. It is a startling blue. Near the field down the road the other day i saw a redwinged blackbird (i think)...
