Watching the evolution of religions over time can be fascinating. Just take a look at the Mormon family tree, starting from ancient Babylonian, Egyptian and Sumerian beliefs to ancient Judaism to early Christianity to Constantine and the Nycene Council to the Protestant revolution with Martin Luther, Henry VIII and John Calvin, and now to Joseph Smith and Mormonism.

came across a copy of the Mormon "training manual", on the very first page it said "the angel Moroni", the book went right into the trash.
