Thank you, Behind the Aegis, for being a moderator

Decided to stop by the Announcements forum and saw the list of moderators - old and new.

I cannot imagine anyone else moderating this group. Your dedication to topics of Judaism - worldwide - your insistence and persistence on keeping anti-Semites at bay, or altogether out of DU, and your patience with the rest of us, the visitors, are really appreciated.

Thanks, again.

I hate to take a nice post and criticize, but...

There are no moderators any more. I am a host for this group (and a few others), which is fairly limited in abilities. I think, however, you are referring to my serving on the MIRT. While I would love to take all the credit, or even some, for the most part, what happens on MIRT is a group effort. Don't get me wrong, I am a part of the group and I enjoy taking out the trash, but others there are just as good, if not better, and definitely more quick in some cases.

That said, I really appreciate your kind words and thanks. I also appreciate your contributions to the group. It may be a slow moving group, but it has its moments.

I think that this transition happened from DU 2 to DU 3 - or whatever - when I was semi banned because... I refused to kiss the asses of... moderators. Ha!
