Air conditioning crashed yesterday afternoon and got an emergency portable unit from office.
Repair person was here today and will take a bit to begin cooling.

Pretty typical for July in this area - we get heatwaves in the 90's (due this week) and high humidity and dewpoints. Swamp ass season.

(2,588 posts)Temperature now 108 and the just 'repaired ' air conditioner is not cooling. Repair company sending someone out again after 5.
Everyone in the living room with portable emergency air conditioner and 2 circulating fans.
When daughter gets home it will be 3 humans, 3 cats, one small dog and a snake.
Relatively cool but hoping nothing serious with central air.
