TONIGHT (Friday) we have February's full moon,

called the SNOW moon, poorly named this year considering snow cover over the Lower 48 is at a record low for the date.
In DC, might be hard to see the moon with all the clouds but some breaks possible.

CLOUDY all day here in Calvert County MD, but CLEARS @ 1 a.m, and moon doesn't set until 7 a.m Saturday!

i live in the mountains about 20 miles east of Albuquerque. Cloudy skies here so I will not be able to see the full moon.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
