But beyond that -- this local station is conservative in my opinion. While Obama won Indianapolis in '08, the station broadcasts to a much wider, more conservative audience. The station IS an echo chamber and they are likely hoping that the R primary drags on, and that Indiana's late (May) primary will matter -- and if that happens, and if Santorum is still in it, he could win here.
Laura Ingram was on the Today Show this morning trying to rationalize the idea that the fact that no one can seal the deal isn't hurting the Republican party, likening it to the '08 Democratic primary. Nice try.
