It's Time to Vote. Seriously.

It’s time for you to vote.  And to help extend our winning streak.[br /]
A few weeks ago, progressive PAC Blue America held a national contest to decide whom it should support in House races.  Thanks to you all, we won that contest by a wide margin.[br /]
Then, after that, Democracy for America held a separate national contest to decide whom it should support.  We won again.[br /]
This weekend, Democracy for America is having a sort of a “run-off” among the candidates who finished in its Top Ten.  So, it’s time to vote again.  Which you can do by clicking here.[br /]
Democracy for America is the largest membership organization of progressive Democrats in the country, with more than one million members.  Founded by Governor Howard Dean, DFA has constantly pushed and prodded the Democratic Party in the right direction on issues like universal healthcare, the right to vote, same-sex marriage, Wall Street reform and peace.[br /]
DFA also has helped to elect more than 600 progressives to office.  It has consistently backed progressive Democrats against regressive ones in Democratic primaries.  It has hundreds of local affiliates.  It has trained thousands of people, all through the country, in the nuts and bolts of campaigning.[br /]
Oh, and DFA’s one million members named me their #1 “Hero in the House” in 2010.  I should mention that.[br /]
