Hilarious freeper thread re: Jeb Bush today

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2837395/posts

They are so AGAINST Jeb Bush as a candidate that they are quoting Rev. Jesse Jackson!

"Stay out de Bushes!"

One freeper says if he had to choose between two reprobates and a Bush that he would choose a reprobate.

Surprising how low the Bushes have sunk in the eyes of freerepublic.com.

I had a 'discussion' with a friend of mine about Jeb today. He said Jeb was the smartest, most sensible, and least likely to flub of all the family combined. I simply stated he is a Bush. The country will not have it. I don't even have to bring anything else up---that was enough to quiet him down.

Gotta be stark raving googly eyed and drooling to qualify for president with that nut bunch.

If this really happens I’ll have to get a lot more serious about my alcohol consumption.

So we can agree on at least one thing.

I still find it a bit difficult to believe that some think he'll be the nominee via a brokered convention. We barely hear his brother's name mentioned in the GOP debates and speechifying. Just the mention of his last name will remind people of his brother in a time when they are trying to get everyone to forget about him.

I will say one thing about the freepers. They aren't quite as sour and hateful as the misfits over at the conservative cave. THAT bunch over there has the warmth and charisma of the lunch room at a crematorium or a slaughter house. I monitored freerepublic for eight years, daily, and it made me soul-sick.

...persons who became personas no grata with the Party, so they literally removed them from the picture so they could rewrite history and pretend this inconvenient person never existed. Much the same way Bush started talking about how Saddam would not let weapons inspectors in to check for WMDs, and everyone in Washington magically forgot why they knew the name "Hans Blix".

There are whole books on this subject, but here's one place to start:
