2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie can win with help of super delegates who don't want to lose their ass in the General Election
Those who understand that supporting Hillary means a huge landslide for whoever the Republican candidate is will abandon her at the convention. Over 200 delegates did that in 2008.
Over 150 super delegates have so far declined to endorse Hillary before the convention. Not many Hillaryites mention that fact.

Here's a suggestion: don't tell them "Bernie wins based on national head-to-head polls"

(3,733 posts)7. Only the most devoted Bernie supporters
would ever buy into the argument
that the best chance to win the GE
is to set aside the primary results where Hillary
is winning with more delegates and actual votes
in order to nominate Bernie who has 3 million less votes.
More Bernie Logic. Losing is actually winning. Math is in the eye of the beholder.
