Empty your ignore list?
Can you see youself making common ground with those.who have said so many horrific things about your candidate and laughed while.doing so?
Can you find common ground with those who have continually acted against your candidate in malicious ways? With those who have shown their beliefs to be in diametric opposition to yours?
Note to jury..no candidates are named in the above.

(1,820 posts)No names are mentioned here. Sorry if it hutprts anyone's feelings to point out the banning after one post...just one!

(55,445 posts)I haven't counted, but I must be around 500 by now, and DU looks a little too 'filtered' for me...
Sometimes I just have to ignore out of necessity, since there is a contingent here trying to get me banned, and they have *almost* tricked me into saying something that would get me banned...
But I'm leaving this site on my own terms, not theirs... So I'm staying for the time being, just for the sole purpose of pissing my enemies off...

(20,886 posts)No matter who wins the primary, there is one contingent that will become even more unbearable. Or, I may simplify the process and just leave.

(9,610 posts)No. There is no common ground to be found at this time.

(10,478 posts)I'll welcome any who wish to work towards getting a Democrat elected to the presidency in the fall. That is my only bar for re-entry.

(10,164 posts)Prior to this primary season, I had five people on my Ignore list. At present, it's somewhere just shy of 250. For the most part, they're not people I'd ever give the time of day again. Not because they disagree with me...but because they can't do so in a civil, adult manner. If I un-Ignore those posters, it will be when the GE is over (if Hillary wins the nomination, I'll be taking a break from DU until then, to comply with the rules)...and probably not then, either.

(6,007 posts)All people want to talk about is the NEXT phase. Can't you focus on the job we're supposed to be doing RIGHT NOW?
That job is to select the MOST ELECTABLE candidate who represents Democratic Values. I don't think I've EVER seen that done. I have posted this image many times and have NEVER had a Clinton supporter give a rational answer to the question. WHAT IS IT YOU ARE SUPPORTING?
This isn't an attack or a joke, this is what you are supposed to doing right now. And so far I have never seen a rational argument.

No. Don't really have a lot of folks on ignore. Don't think I added any during this primary cycle.
Can you see yourself making common ground with those.who have said so many horrific things about your candidate and laughed while.doing so?
Sure. I don't take anything said on this board personally. I pretty much like everyone, even if I disagree with them.
