Touch-screen electronic voting machines are being used in WV.

if there are other races/issues on the ballot. Perhaps there was a box the voter had to check to affirm they were a Dem voter, but they didn't check it, so the vote was disqualified. Pure conjecture, because I don't know what is going on.

(7,318 posts)8. So PAUL T. FARRELL, JR., a presidential candidate is supposedly pulling about 9% of the votes!
Weird. But touch screens are being used and they have been notorious for calibration errors that have tossed votes to a candidate whose name appeared on screen next to the one the voter actually wanted.

So, probably another white wingnut or other pulling the missing 10%.
