(68,869 posts)Give it time...once the zombie primary is over...it gets better. Hillary will win the GE despite Sanders behavior.

(68,869 posts)both Hillary and Trump but of course that does not serve Bernie so his supporters ignore it. I will never understand the mentality of those who try to prove what they perceive as a truth with a lie. I just know it happens.

(11,546 posts)Do they keep voting for her? Are they that miserable in their lives that they can only hope for mediocrity even when they have a positive, strong option staring them in the face?
dchill
(38,641 posts)and that she's inevitable. Hell, sometimes even I believe that.

(651 posts)If you allowed more people to vote in your primaries, like independents, she'd be toast and you know it. "We the people are speaking"? God, give me a break. The people that have voted are supporting someone with historically bad net favorables, someone not liked, and someone now in danger of losing to the only person that is more disliked than she is in polling history (and she does far worse versus Trump than Sanders does). Don't pretend there is some popular uprising in her favor, she's a disaster of a candidate and will likely win the nomination for all the wrong reasons.

(38,641 posts)or corporate media. They don't even bother telling the truth, or trying to be fair. The overpaid talkers masquerading as journalists are reading from their management cheat sheets, which say Trump v Clinton is the only game in town. It was supposed to be Jeb v Hillary, but sometimes a candidate can't win even with their help. So, along comes Trump, who's not even serious about being President, and he's given the lead role.
What we've got here is the first 100% media created Presidential race. How exited we should be!

(2,461 posts)and wasted tax money. Can't believe there are 6 more months.
On the other hand - THERE ARE 6 MORE MONTHS FOR BERNIE IN THE SPOTLIGHT! so this 'little' problem can be fully exposed to the disinfecting light of day. (I say 6, as Bernie will stump for Hillary, IF she's the nominee, and I'm guessing his message will work its way into those public engagements one way or another) Go Bernie!

(154,021 posts)I expect noting good from either. The suckiness will be for very different reasons though. I suspect 2020 will be an open election... sorry kids. To the level of GW... time will tell.
Incidentally this is why this will be a low turn out election. One generates heat, and fire, the other generates zzzz outside of core constituencies.
