2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSure looks like a lot of VERY SCARED Bernie supporters today.
Here is the news.
Hillary is not going to drop out no matter what kind of cray cray poo you throw.
It is just not going to happen.
You are wasting your energy.
It's MAY! The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and spring has sprung.
Take a deep breath. Think about how delicious it will be when one of our candidates beats Donald.
Use your energy for something positive today.
Beating up Hillary is not positive. Hillary is going to win, and beating up Hillary isn't doing anyone any good, except Trump.
The more you hammer Hillary, the more Rove likes it!!!

What is consistant is your lack of objectivity, being a polarized and mypoic supporter.
While you try to cast me as biased, I am not. It's just that the lion's share of bullshit comes from one side and there are 12 HRC supporters and around 5 SBS supporters who contribute to about half of the bullshit floated here. I don't need to name names, since those who float the bullshit will take my comments personally and try to flag this post.

(12,689 posts)I haven't really seen many positive posts about Sanders on this particular forum in weeks. Sure, there are some, but nothing like there was before.

(50,986 posts)near an ocean anymore, although I used to.
If somebody swims in the ocean, his or her odds of being attacked by a shark are slim. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, only that it is generally rare.
However.
When it does, when a shark makes a meal of a human swimmer, when it's powerful jaws sink down into our flesh and bones, I think it's fair to say that the experience would be considered distinctly unpleasant for us. The shark probably likes it just fine, the way some consumers like Colonel Sanders' Extra Crispy chicken.
So yeah, although I don't live in terror of shark attacks personally, I remain aware of a shark's dominance in its own domain, were circumstances to align just so.

(50,986 posts)theme, but I just got going on a shark riff this evening.
They are big fish. With strong teeth. And they've been eating stuff for over 300 million years.

(20,606 posts)Until I took up diving.
It's weird, but when you see them while diving, it removes the fear.
Most attacks are accidents. They mistake you for something else.
So when they look at you while you are looking back at them on their level, you can tell they have no interest.
Although I have to say that when I went cage diving with the great whites, they looked VERY interested in me!

(50,986 posts)make similar observations.
My thought is you may be underestimating your own dynamic and your own bravery. The sharks evidently see a swimmer at the beach splashing around, but all they see is the splashing while their bellies tell them to chow down, so they motor over and have lunch.
For all that about shark teeth and whatnot, I do get very homesick for the sea.
